Our
children's meeting is held every Tuesday night from 6:45
for an hour and runs from September until Easter. In the
meeting we seek to teach the boys and girls the gospel
in the hope that they might come to accept the Lord
Jesus Christ as their Saviour early in life. The meeting
is aimed at children up to secondary school age at which
point they can move into the Youth Fellowship.
During
the meeting there are choruses, a quiz, a memory verse
from scripture and most importantly a message from
the Bible. We
currently run a bus to collect children from the Abbots
estate however transport from other areas of the town
can be arranged if required.
Our
Sunday School is held on Sunday afternoons for an hour
from 2:45, running from September to June. After singing
some choruses the children are divided into classes by
age where there are taught from the bible. Throughout
the year they will also learn bible verses, as well as
the Child's Catechism or Shorter catechism depending on
their age.
All
children will be most welcome at these meetings. for
